Membership

Join IGMMA

Open to every Igbo gospel music minister — psalmists, worship leaders, choristers, instrumentalists, songwriters, producers and engineers alike.

How membership works

Creating an account does not make you a member. Membership of the association is granted after review — that is what makes it worth holding.

  1. You apply

Create your account and tell us what you do in music ministry, where you are, and which chapter you are applying to. It takes about five minutes.

  2. We review

The membership committee checks your application with your chapter coordinator. You can sign in and see its progress at any time.

  3. You are verified

Once approved you are issued a membership number and your standing becomes Verified Member.

  4. You are in

The members’ community, the chapter, the directory and the welfare of the association are open to you.

Who can join

  • Any Igbo gospel music minister, in Nigeria or the diaspora, who is active in music ministry.
  • Every role counts — this is not an association of singers only. Instrumentalists, producers, sound engineers, media teams and dancers are members on the same footing.
  • You must be 18 or older. The form asks for your date of birth and will not accept an application from anyone younger.
  • You will be asked to name the chapter you are applying to.

What to have ready

  • Your full name, email address and date of birth.
  • Your phone number, and where you are — country, state and town.
  • Your place of worship, and your own ministry or group name if you have one.
  • What you do in music ministry. Choose as many as apply.
  • A photograph, if you have one to hand. It is optional and can be added later.

Called to serve with love.
